The Sterling Silver Pillbox from the Marucina Fine 100% "Sterling Silver" Collection is named after the founder's paternal grandmother, who had a love and affinity for the tradition of Mexican Silver. Collectors and commissioners their whole lives, they passed on this love for the material, and the collection, onto their children and subsequently through the passage of time, their grand-children.

This "Pastillero" Pillbox, however, is a brand new creation, designed by the founder, inspired by the tradition of silver pillboxes (which her father has a passion for collecting), but through a more playful modern lens: The Rx Bottle. After she got sick of seeing her orange prescription bottles on her bedside table, she decided to sheathed in .925 to eliminate the eye-sore.  

Made by hand in Mexico City, you’ll never again forget to take a pill because its box is stashed away for aesthetic’s-sake–the “Pastillero Plateado” (Silver Pillbox) is an immediate enhancement for your bedside or a perfect elegant gift for the silver aficionado–or a new collector–alike.
